I've been so busy last week since my mom and mother in law came to town to visit us as well as the company bosses for some business meetings that's why I wasn't able to blog. So here I'll be sharing with you what I've been up to last week.
SENTOSA ISLAND
We had a blast on Singapore's popular island resort, Sentosa. In this photo, we took a ride taking us high up in the sky. This ride is called the Tiger Sky Tower ride. Click here for more information. We love the views from our vantage point.
GARDENS BY THE BAY
I know I've shared this with you in my previous post but I think it's worth reiterating. What you see on the background is called the famous supertree grove. These uniquely designed vertical gardens of 25 to 50-meters tall have large canopies that provide shade in the day and come alive with an exhilarating display of light and sound at night. Chilli crab is a seafood dish popular in Singapore. Mud crabs are commonly used and are stir-fried in a semi-thick, sweet and savory tomato and chili-based sauce. Despite its name, chili crab is not a very spicy dish. It is listed at number 35 on World's 50 most delicious foods compiled by CNN Go in 2011. ~ source WikipediaMy mom and mother in law's visit wouldn't be complete without tasting the famous chili crab.
MERLION PARK AND MARINA BAY SANDS
Unfortunately, Merlion is currently under renovation so we weren't able to take a photo with it.
At the Merlion Park, we stopped by Lady M Confections for some snacks.
SHOPPING
Most of their time was spent shopping and buying souvenirs. We visited many shopping malls during their 10-day visit. We also let them try our favorite restaurants and foods. We were so happy to be able to bless our moms to come and visit us here in Singapore as well as to let them know our state and how we are doing. It's great to be a blessing, especially to our loved ones.
Have you blessed someone lately? Let me know in the comment section below.
