Building Our Family Home #2

Grab a coffee/tea/milk because today I'll be doing a photo tour on the before and after of our current family home. Sit back, relax, and read on...

September of last year, the husband and I started to shop for houses around the Austin area. We realized we needed a bigger space because we wanted more kiddos.

We love our first house. It's small yet just the right fit. However, when our little guy arrived it's no longer working for us. We then decided to list our first house. It got sold after 3 months. I've shared more about this story here: New Beginnings 2018.

On the link above, I've also shared how we acquired our house. It is a story of suddenlys and immediatelys, only the Lord God could orchestrate. ;)

-------------------------------------

I was smiling ear to ear when I learned we get to choose the interior finishes of the house. Like seriously?! I was super excited to go to the Design Center that I couldn't sleep for a couple of days. Haha!

The meeting took 3 hours. Scott Felder's in-house Interior Designer helps us with our selections by making sure all of it works out well together. We get to choose everything by the way.

Here are our choices. We both love everything. This is our home. :)

Enough with the chitchat. Here's the before and after. :D

Alright, we're done. My little love is tired.

I'm excited to do a reveal. Though, I'm not really sure when will that be. Curating pieces for the home takes time folks! For us, it's about choosing pieces that tell a narrative of the individuals living inside it. ;)
