In the past, I wouldn't wear this skirt like how I would wear it today. I wouldn't usually tuck my top in. I would just let it hang loose on my body without realizing how unflattering it is. But that has been changed since I came to Singapore.
I learn a lot from the fashion-forward people here. Hooray! Its never been too late for me. Tucking in the top visually adds length to your lower body which is a great benefit for a petite girl like me. As a personal preference, I would usually start my tuck in from the waist because if I start it from my hips it would visually pull my body down which makes me look very short.
I would be calling this look the modern Maria Clara because the look emanates femininity and modesty. This look is also great for the office. What do you think?
