Ever since I've learned that alcohol base toners are bad for the skin because it strips off the natural oils of your face causing it to produce more, I decided to switch to this.
It's better not to mess up the chemistry or 'whatever-you-call-that-thing' on my face. I prefer things to be as natural/simple as much as possible. I also don't like to spend a lot, therefore, this alcohol-free toner is the right fit for my beauty needs.
What is a toner?
A toner is used to remove excess oil, dirt, and grime which is left out after cleansing the face. Other benefits include: minimize pores, can prevent ingrown facial hairs, refreshes the face and adds a layer of protection.
My skin type
I have combination skin which is oily on the T-zone and normal for the most part.
Application
After cleansing your face with soap and water, saturate the cotton ball or cotton pad with the product and apply it across your face and neck. Afterward, moisturize your face.
When to Apply
A toner is usually applied after cleansing the face. As mentioned earlier this is to remove the dirt that is left out after cleansing the face.
I use mine after washing my face in the evenings. This is because dirt and oils are accumulated in the face during daytime plus, I have makeup on. That extra help is important to thoroughly clean the face before bedtime.
I choose not to apply in the morning as a personal preference, any way you don't accumulate as much dirt when you sleep. Yes, I only apply mine at nighttime. This way, I'm stretching my toner for many more uses.

Product Review
I love the Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner. I wouldn't be a loyal customer for many years if this is not the case.
I like that:
It is affordable and lasts longer depending on the number of applications. I couldn't see any cons. So, yes, I'd definitely recommend the Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner. I hope you love it too just as much as I do.
By the way, here are some other alcohol-free toners I've selected from different brands. You might like to check them out.
