If you are looking for a place to stay beyond the immigration gates of Singapore's Changi airport where you can sleep, shower, lounge, use the internet, and have decent meals for a short layover at the country then you're at the right place!
Because I'll be sharing with you our experience staying at a pay-per-use lounge located at Changi Airport called The Haven. The Haven is located at Terminal 3 in Singapore's Changi Airport.

It has been a dilemma for us looking for a place to stay for our 6-7 hours layover in Singapore. Sure, we have many friends in the said country who are willing to open up their houses for us for a free one night stay.
But because our arrival is at midnight and our departure is at the early break of dawn the same day we've decided to stay within the airport's vicinity.
The first plan was just to sleep in the waiting area near the airline check-in counters. But both of us realized that we need to shower, have decent meals and sleep on a comfortable bed even for a few hours to be able to stretch out coming from an 11-hour flight from Israel and taking another 25 hours flight to Texas, USA. Gosh! It's a long journey, isn't it?
THE ROOM
We book 2 adjacent nap rooms from The Haven for 3 hours with breakfast, inclusive of the use of the shower rooms, lounge access, and free use of the internet. Take note they only have one single bed per room at the Haven but it's better than sleeping on a chair outside in the waiting area.
If it happens that your alarm clock fails you, don't worry because the staff will surely wake you up. Before check-in, they would usually ask you what time your next flight will be or what time you wanted them to wake you up.
THE TOILET AND WASH AREA
To be able to access the toilet and the washroom who have to get outside your room and pass by the lobby inside the lounge. This area is located behind the information counter where guests are received. But no worries because there is a wall separating these areas from the area outside so there's still privacy. Be sure to bring your own slippers and toiletries. Towels are provided.
BREAKFAST
The night before the staff will give you a menu for breakfast so they would know what to prepare the next day. They would also politely ask you for your convenient time having it. The staff is friendly and they understand that your time is of the essence. They value what you value and they move along with your pace.
Other than the menu provided you can also enjoy other delicacies and drinks offered at The Haven's pantry. Everything your eyes can see are yours to enjoy.
THE LOUNGE & KIDS AREA
After breakfast, we hurriedly check out and dash off to the airline check-in counter. So it's not like we have all the time in the world to enjoy the lounge's amenities.
COST
For our 3 hour stay at The Haven good for 2 persons, we paid $233.05 SGD all in all. Sure, we could get a decent hotel room at this price in Singapore but we can't afford to go outside and back to the airport because time is much more valuable during that time.
WHAT I THOUGHT
This is a perfect place to stay for people who happen to have short layovers in Singapore. I'm glad there is a lounge-like this in Changi Airport. It's highly recommended.
