Today, I'll be sharing my thoughts with you regarding this eye gloss duo from Paul & Joe. A very good friend of mine, well almost like my big sister, gave it to me last Christmas. I'm honestly not familiar with the brand until I've received it from her. For those of you who are not familiar with the brand, like me a few months ago, I've included a quick summary of the product below.
Color: 01 Secret D'Or features a shimmery gold and sparkly pale-green shade.
What it's used for: Paul and Joe Beaute Eye Gloss Duo is a convenient, modern product that allows you to precisely apply eye makeup using a double-ended gloss wand. Designed to deliver a metallic, pearly finish, these shadows create a dramatic, high-gloss look when combined.
WHAT I THOUGHT
This eye gloss duo from Paul & Joe comes in 5 different colors. I had mine in shimmery gold and sparkly pale-green shade although I really feel like it's more on the yellowish side. The eye gloss duo has a doe foot applicator on both ends.
Pros
- Easy to apply. Perfect eye makeup for the lazy days.
- It does not crease.
- Travel friendly.
- Everyday use.
- I find the eye gloss base on one end to be moisturizing. I use it as my base.
- Brightens up the eyes.
- The dewy base on one end of the gloss gives off a light metallic finish. While the other end of the gloss has given off a translucent glittery finish.
Cons
- Expensive. One eye gloss cost $33 USD. Gosh! I'm glad it's given as a gift.
I use this eye gloss whenever I feel lazy to apply eye makeup. I really find this eye gloss to be very convenient to use during those lazy days. If you're not a fan of glittery eye shadows then I wouldn't suggest you get this. Yeah, some may find this eye gloss to be too girly teenybopper look.

Unfortunately, the photos weren't able to capture the sparkly effect of this eye gloss duo accurately. It does give that coveted glossy and glittery effect on my eyes. I might add that it's a great party makeup essential. Will do a simple party makeup look using this Paul & Joe Eye Gloss Duo soon. Overall this eye gloss duo from Paul & Joe is doing just fine. If it isn't given as a gift, will I buy it? Hmmm.. To be honest, I don't think so. I find it too expensive especially for a frugal girl like me. I'm sure there are many cheaper yet effective alternatives out there. :D
