Kimono Dress x Quarter Strap Sandals

Hi friends! Gideon and I did a road trip last weekend to Brenham, Texas. We visited Chappell Hill lavender farm and enjoyed ample servings of mouth-watering-briskets from Chappell Hill Bakery and Deli, which we now hail as the new best. :D Of course, the trip wouldn't be complete without an outfit post.

I did a post last week: What to Bring on a Day Trip: A Checklist in preparation for our road trip to Brenham, TX. I'm glad I made that post, as it's really helpful.

In that post, I've also shared with you my love for bucket bags. I'm so pleased with the purchase of this cute little bucket bag from Steve Madden, it looks small from the outside but it actually has ample space from the inside. I was even able to carry my pink polaroid from that bucket bag. So neat!  

I don't really like to wear flat sandals because I'm a petite girl. But Gideon encouraged me to do it, saying it doesn't actually look bad on me. So I did. Ah, I easily get swayed by my husband's sweet talk. Hehehe.

Anyway, I saw this quarter strap sandals last weekend and decided to add it to my closet. I couldn't resist since it was on a deal. I'm quite frugal you know. I only buy items on sale especially those that are displayed on clearance racks.

And I think twice, thrice or a gazillion times before paying for it. But I do splurge, from time to time. :P
