When I was pregnant with our little love, I've learned that some everyday products could potentially harm the growing fetus in the womb. And that includes makeup as well.
I'm not into extremes. Yes, there are things to avoid. But for my part, I've tried to reduce the chemically-laden stuff on my body by replacing it with natural ingredients.
Now, that our baby love is almost one, using organic products goods with me. But not everything. I wish I'm more into making my own like those amazing DIY's I saw on Pinterest. Nope, I'm too lazy to do that.
Thankfully there are brands like Maple Holistics. Their #1 goal in mind is to provide a natural, holistic range of premium products that can enhance hygiene, health and daily living. Great! I love that.
The Tea Tree Oil Shampoo
The first product I've tried from them is this Tea Tree Oil Shampoo. It promises healthy hair growth promotion, slow hair loss, shedding, and thinning hair. It helps prevent flaking and dandruff. Soothes irritated scalps. Naturally eradicates lice. Leaves hair and scalp rejuvenated and fresh.
A lot of good claims there. Ingredients are Aqua, Jojoba Oil, Botanical Keratin, Argan Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil, Rosemary Oil. They say if you can't read what's on the label better skip it.
I wish I've known about them a month after giving birth, as I've struggled with shedding post-pregnancy. I mean, yes, it is normal but if there's a way to lessen the amount of hair fall out then I'd go for it.
Thoughts
I've used this product a couple of times now. The smell is unlike the chemical-laden shampoos found in stores. It's just like you've lathered tea tree essential oil on your hair!
Also, my husband suffers from dandruff and itchy dry scalp for many years. We hope this is the solution to the embarrassing flakings he had to endure up until now.
Of course, I don't expect immediate results with only a few uses. So I'll be updating this post after using this product for months to see how it goes.
