On our first week to Cebu, Philippines we immediately enjoyed the pristine waters of the south. We frolicked the crystal clear waters of Sumilon Island and Moalboal Cebu.
Getting To Sumilon Island
From Cebu South Bus Terminal take the bus via Oslob. Travel time takes approximately 4-5 hours.
Via car is faster. Don't worry about getting lost. There are road signs on the way to guide you where the port to Sumilon island is. Also, don't be afraid to ask around.
We parked our vehicles at the Oslob port and took a 15-20 minute pump boat ride to the island.

My brother-in-law is a Bluewater member. This cost him Php 11,000.00 per year. One benefit is free entrance to any Bluewater resorts: Maribago, Sumilon Island, Panglao, Bohol for one year. A member can bring with him/her up to 4 guests. He also gets discounts at restaurants among others.
This is actually a good deal if you have a big family or love to host events, who live in Cebu, Philippines and love the beach life.
Yay, we made it!
Baby be like, "Mommy, not right now, I'm looking at seashells!"
Other than swimming, Sumilon Island offers activities like kayaking which costs Php150/30 minutes, biking at Php150/hour, spa, day tour.

We had our lunch at the Pavilion. Food is a bit pricey but it was great nonetheless.

Moalboal Cebu
After lunch, we headed to the opposite side of the south of Cebu to Moalboal. We stayed at Club Serena Resort for the night. Food is awesome moreover the rates are reasonable. And oh... we got the treehouse for our room.
Our little boy loves it there too.
