Curious with the group of monkeys entertaining fascinated zoo visitants, I lag a few steps behind the hubby and our son to see what the primates are up to.
After realizing I won't be able to catch up with the fam if I stayed any longer, I spurred myself to the direction where I last saw them and did a brisk walk.
Bam! A bird bomb landed perfectly on its fast-moving target. The happy hyper face I wore that day perished. The victim was my head. The poop dripped from my hair to the shoulder. Ew!
No matter how much you tout me it's my lucky day (it is believed to be good luck), nope, I won't buy it!
My day is ruined! And home is 2 hours away.
Kidding! Not really! lol. Do you really think a bird poop will deter me? Thank God, it's not a stray bullet. I'm okay. So let's continue the fun!
The episode happened last week at the San Antonio Zoo. It was when our 1-year-old showed interest in animals that we decided to pay a visit. The zoo took 2 hours drive from Austin so why not?!
We bought tickets from Groupon to get a discount. You can also purchase tickets directly at the San Antonio Zoo entrance. Children below 3 years of age are free of charge.
Come, join our family on a photo tour at the San Antonio Zoo. Scroll down.
Both children and adults ride the carousel for $3 USD each.
Parking
Parking is free. Get there early to get a good spot. Also, be sure to park your car correctly to avoid getting a citation.
Say hello!
We were thrilled for our little guy to come and meet the animals at the San Antonio Zoo. He was happy but it didn't last long. Oh, dear!
Come prepared. Bring a hat. Birds may drop a bomb on you just like it did me. Crazy nasty. Talk about a real party pooper! lol.
There you go, friend. I hope you had fun with us on this quick photo tour at the San Antonio Zoo. You have an awesome day then! Talk to you soon. ;)
